About the role

The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and fostering a welcoming environment at Oxford Collection of hotels. This position focuses on delivering the Oxford Hospitality Fundamentals and ensuring every guest's experience is memorable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out, processing payments, and assisting with special requests.
  • Communicate guest information to relevant departments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Resolve guest issues using the Oxford Guest Recovery method and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Generate and print daily and weekly reports, resolve system discrepancies, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • May be trained for Night Audit coverage and perform other hotel-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day, perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office is advantageous.
  • Any previous experience in a front desk, reception, or related role is a plus but not mandatory.
