Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the owner's representative throughout all phases of ground-up high-rise construction projects, from preconstruction through turnover.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and project execution.
  • Cook up with architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and municipal agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee preconstruction activities including design coordination, constructability reviews, value engineering, and procurement strategies.
  • Monitor contractor performance, project milestones, safety compliance, and quality standards throughout construction.
  • Review and manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project reporting.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve project issues.
  • Lead project meetings with ownership, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders while providing executive-level project updates.
  • Ensure projects comply with all local building codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage project closeout, commissioning, punch lists, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience managing large-scale ground-up construction projects.
  • Previous experience working as an Owner's Representative, Project Manager, Development Manager, or with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience overseeing high-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, project controls, and cost management.
  • Experience coordinating architects, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex construction projects simultaneously.
