Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the owner's representative throughout all phases of ground-up high-rise construction projects, from preconstruction through turnover.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and project execution.
- Cook up with architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and municipal agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee preconstruction activities including design coordination, constructability reviews, value engineering, and procurement strategies.
- Monitor contractor performance, project milestones, safety compliance, and quality standards throughout construction.
- Review and manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve project issues.
- Lead project meetings with ownership, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders while providing executive-level project updates.
- Ensure projects comply with all local building codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Manage project closeout, commissioning, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale ground-up construction projects.
- Previous experience working as an Owner's Representative, Project Manager, Development Manager, or with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven experience overseeing high-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial developments.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, project controls, and cost management.
- Experience coordinating architects, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple complex construction projects simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
