As an Owner Advocate* at San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, you will be the friendly face that greets and welcomes our members and visitors, setting the tone for an exceptional banking experience. Your role involves assisting members with their diverse banking needs, ensuring they feel valued and understood. With your empathetic approach, you'll engage with individuals to understand their unique situations, serving as their dedicated Owner Advocate* throughout their financial journey. Your commitment to fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere will enhance community relationships and highlight our member-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and visitors, setting a positive tone for their banking experience.
• Assist members with diverse banking needs, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
• Engage with members to understand their unique financial situations and provide dedicated advocacy.
• Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere to enhance community relationships.
• Manage documentation and communicate effectively with members and colleagues using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment while also operating independently.
• Work flexible hours as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including telephone skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Proficient typing and calculator skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Preference may be given to applicants with recent experience at another financial institution or credit union performing similar functions. For new hires, this position will be filled as an Owner Advocate I. An active Owner Advocate I may have the opportunity to progress to an Owner Advocate II.

Pay

Competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
