Buyer
Responsibilities
- Manage internal purchasing requests independently.
- Generate and oversee external purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Navigate outside standard procedures using sound judgment when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams and subcontractors to support control solutions.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Basic Excel skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3‑5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Proficiency with Oracle systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
Work Environment
The work environment is primarily in‑office, with flexibility for a hybrid model if needed. The role involves using technologies such as Oracle and Excel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $30.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent factors.
