About the Role
The Overseas Packaging Plant Intern will contribute to and improve functions related to quality control processes, packaging designs, and standards. This role combines responsibilities focused on ensuring product quality and effective packaging solutions, emphasizing preventative measures and adherence to established quality standards at each stage.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of quality control processes and packaging designs/standards.
- Ensure packaging materials and designs meet performance requirements.
- Identify and implement solutions for more effective processes.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for individual and team projects to add value to direct and indirect processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial), or related field, or prior experience in Quality Assurance, industry, or manufacturing.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
- Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
- Must complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
