Overnight Veterinary Technician - ER

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Renton is seeking an overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in Tukwila.

Pay

• Starting pay: $26.75 - $51.32/hour, dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.
• Shift differential pay for eligible hours:
  • Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 (4-hour minimum)
  • Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 (4-hour minimum)
  • Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 (4-hour minimum)

Schedule

• Full-time, overnight position.
• Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters (e.g., jugular catheters, central lines, or PICC lines).
• Perform advanced radiographs.
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases (Level 2 & 3 inpatient care).
• Work alongside skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medicine to patients.
• Mentor and train other co-workers.
