Position Details
Role: Overnight Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Schedule: Four 10-hour overnight shifts from 9:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Time-off requests will be accommodated whenever possible.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Follow digital treatment plans prescribed by the attending veterinarian
- Provide safe, effective patient handling and low-stress restraint
- Administer medications, injections, sedation, and nursing care as directed
- Place intravenous catheters and support emergency and surgical care
- Maintain accurate and complete digital medical records
- Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in patient status
- Administer and monitor general anesthesia when required and within your training and scope
- Perform in-house laboratory diagnostics, including urinalysis and cytology
- Process samples using in-hospital laboratory equipment
- Absorb diagnostic radiographs
- Maintain clean treatment areas, patient wards, and workspaces
- Follow infectious disease, biomedical waste, and medical waste protocols
- Complete laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and other hospital upkeep duties
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology
- Experience with emergency, surgical, and hospitalized patient care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively during overnight hours
