About the role

Guardian Veterinary Emergency, Orange County is an independently owned, full-service overnight/weekend & holiday 24/7 emergency and specialty care veterinary hospital in Middletown, New York. Our entire team is dedicated to providing the very best and most progressive care to all of our patients, and courteous service to our clients and primary care veterinary partners.

Responsibilities

• Must have their own reliable transportation.
• Compensation is commensurate to experience.
• Open for FT, PT or PD/Relief.
• Location is in Middletown, NY.
• Qualified Applicants For This Role: License eligible [Must be an LVT within 6 months of Hire] or licensed Veterinary Technicians.
• Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost.
• The desire to continually learn and grow.
• Licensed Specialized Veterinary Technicians desired for Critical Care and ER.
• General practice and surgical skills are desired, but not required.
• Must be open to working overnight, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be licensed or license eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Positive energy, clear communication, calm demeanor, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a veterinary environment preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and problem solve.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
