Responsibilities

  • Provides bell and valet services to hotel guests
  • Maintains guest satisfaction and comfort
  • Assists Night Audit in meeting and greeting guests
  • Retrieves and transports guests' luggage to their rooms
  • Explains valet parking procedures and fees
  • Directs guests to registration area for check-in
  • Parks vehicles securely and marks key tags
  • Drives vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Greets and assists guests by helping unload luggage and transporting to their rooms
  • Answers guest questions, issues, and problems regarding transportation, hotel services, and local events
  • Offers assistance and answers questions throughout the hotel
  • Extends professionalism and courtesy to guests, associates, and vendors
  • Continuously trains and develops personal skills, especially relating to professional hospitality, technical skills, and proactive approaches to solving guest or hotel concerns
  • Offers improvement ideas and acknowledges good performance of others
  • Works as a team to help all teammates complete required activities ensuring guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Knowledge of local establishments, businesses, and the surrounding community
  • General knowledge of basic customer service skills
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Driving record meeting the needs of the company's insurance carrier
  • Physical ability to see, grasp, carry, lift, and push up to 65 lbs throughout the hotel during the entire shift
