Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy
- Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON
- Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor
- Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary
- Report errors in the administration of medications
- Review and follow a written care plan
- Assist with caring for residents when needed
- Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
- Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution
- Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration
- Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations
- Previous experience as a TMA is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Schedule
10:00pm-6:00am, rotating weekends
Pay Range
Base pay shown above does not include shift differentials or $1.00 extra per hour when working TMA shifts. Based on experience/licensure
