Overnight Stewarding & Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Overnight Cleaner plays an important role in keeping The Inn at Stonecliffe clean, organized, and ready for the next day. This position is responsible for cleaning assigned kitchen, stewarding, dining, bar, restroom, and service areas after daily service has ended.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen, dish, storage, and back of house areas
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and detail floors, mats, drains, and assigned surfaces
• Clean dining rooms, bars, server stations, restrooms, and guest facing F&B spaces
• Remove trash, recycling, cardboard, and food waste
• Restock paper products, soap, sanitizer, and basic supplies
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Report maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or supply concerns to management
• Support additional deep cleaning projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, stewarding, housekeeping, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight hours
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Able to follow direction, cleaning checklists, and safety standards
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items as needed
