Position Responsibilities
- Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting
- Cleaning of common/public areas; Cleans assigned washrooms, to specified standards using prescribed procedures, including but not limited to wiping, dusting, sweeping, mopping, polishing, scrubbing, shampooing, other and straightening
- Restocking and removing towels in the gym/pool areas
- Picks up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible
- Aids the housekeeping department as needed with cleaning, laundry, and supplies
- Ensures that the facility remains clean at all times to include back of house areas
- Responds to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints
- Responds and delivers to quest requests
- Promptly turns in lost articles to management for entry into Lost and Found
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship*
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient
- Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service
- Ability to understand and comply with proper cleaning techniques, procedures and brand standards
- Ability to timely complete assigned tasks
- Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills
