Overnight Shift Manager
About the role
The role requires leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers perform various tasks including planning for shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, managing crew, and training.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability during shifts.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet and help meet departmental targets.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure exceptional customer service.
- Manage crew effectively.
- Train new and existing staff.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
- Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald's environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned restaurants.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required. English as a second language is also acceptable. Tuition assistance is available.
Skills
Leadership, communication, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.
