Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and procedures
- Train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring compliance with protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents effectively
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders
- Provide assistance and support to guests and employees during emergencies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in a security management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and emergency procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in using security equipment and software
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security
- First Aid/CPR certification and training in crisis management is an asset
