Overnight Sanitation Laborer
About the role
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor and taking sanitation direction from the Sanitation Lead, this position requires flexibility to work in a variety of areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as written
- Adhere to all Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Sanitation rules
- Follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
- Function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
- Stand and work for long periods of time
- Work on a ladder and in dusty environments
- Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal safety
Requirements
- Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on assigned tasks
- Ability to read and complete all paperwork associated with hiring, safety procedures, and job duties
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions provided on the job
- Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
- Demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
