Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for Emergency and ICU

About the role

The primary focus is to provide comprehensive veterinary care in various medical specialties including surgery, emergency medicine, radiology, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, rehabilitation, and neurology. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, interpreting diagnostic imaging, managing chronic conditions, and providing pain management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in dogs and cats.
• Perform surgical procedures under anesthesia.
• Interpret and utilize diagnostic imaging results.
• Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions.
• Provide pain management strategies.

Requirements

• A Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina.
• Experience in at least one specialty area preferred.
