About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Web Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with WordPress, Content Management Systems (CMS), and SEO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom websites for veterinary practices
• Ensure website accessibility and compliance with WCAG guidelines
• Optimize websites for search engines
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Implement responsive design to ensure compatibility across devices
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep websites up-to-date

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Understanding of database management systems like MySQL
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
