Overnight Private Duty Nurse - RN

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking an Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. We are a leading private duty nursing company that provides compassionate home care to children and adults. Our nurses work collaboratively to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in their homes.
• Document patient care electronically using tablets provided in each patient’s home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
• Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) - Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule

Full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available. Shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
