Overnight Mid-Level Engineer B | Full Time

About the role

Join the team at Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, where you’ll represent the Hyatt Regency brand and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for guests from around the globe. This position may also assist with shift coverage in other areas of the Engineering function, following a 5-day work week with overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot large commercial equipment, including kitchen, laundry, and mechanical systems.
• Perform plumbing and electrical work as needed.
• Provide shift coverage in other areas of the Engineering function.

Requirements

• Previous hotel engineering experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of large commercial equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Open and flexible schedule, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
