Overnight Member Services Representative

Join our team as an Overnight Front Desk Associate and help create a positive, welcoming experience for Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

About the Role

As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a superior "Judgement Free" member experience. Your role involves engaging with members, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting club environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with check-ins, questions, or concerns.
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor, offering support, and upholding club policies.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership-related functions, including sign-ups, billing updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales goals.
• Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, restrooms, and communal spaces.
• Perform comprehensive club walkthroughs to address safety, policy, or cleanliness issues.
• Report and address maintenance concerns, such as broken equipment or facility issues.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to become CPR/AED certified.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Upbeat, positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and dependable.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnight).
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
