Overnight Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment within the facility.
• Avoid additional electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties as needed.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge base.
• Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.
• Communicate effectively to appropriate individuals regarding building status and changes.
• Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial facility maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
• Well versed in general maintenance functions such as light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• A valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
