Overnight Janitor / Maintenance Attendant

About the role

The Overnight Janitor/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in keeping our clubs clean, safe, sanitary, and ready for members. Working with Club Leadership, you will maintain the facility’s appearance and address any immediate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to members and guests when required
• Complete daily itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set by the general manager
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward all club staff, members, and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns, including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook
• Perform any additional tasks or projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications as required by local/state laws
• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• At least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to provide required documentation for e-Verification

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend, and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
