Maintenance Person
About the role
You will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance across our home. You’ll walk the home daily to pro-actively identify any areas that need attention, whilst also conducting regular safety checks on various equipment. You’ll create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents’ dignity at all times.

Requirements
- Previous experience doing maintenance work in care settings
- Experience at painting and decorating
- Electrical and plumbing skills (beneficial but not essential)
- Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, and Food Safety
- Keep up-to-date and accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled
Qualifications
You will need to have previous experience doing maintenance work in care settings, experience at painting and decorating, and excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, and Food Safety. Electrical and plumbing skills would be beneficial but not essential.
