Overnight Front Gate Attendant (Friday & Saturday Night ONLY)

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor to create an inviting first impression.
• Provide clear directions and information about hotel amenities, facilities, and services.
• Monitor and manage incoming traffic, allowing entry only to authorized vehicles, including guests, members, and approved visitors.
• Adhere to established security protocols by verifying the identity and purpose of those entering the property.
• Address inquiries regarding parking, venue locations, and general hotel policies with attentiveness and care.
• Manage peak arrival times with composure, ensuring smooth and orderly vehicle access.
• Communicate effectively with security personnel and other departments via radio to uphold safety and service standards.
• Operate the gatehouse computer to verify reservation details, track arrivals, and provide accurate guest information.
• Remain alert for any unusual activity, promptly notifying the appropriate personnel of security concerns.
• Relay important information clearly to guests, visitors, and team members to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and a welcoming, guest-service focused demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using two-way radio systems for professional communication.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to look up and verify reservation details.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness for safety/security practices.
• Previous hospitality, security, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
