Job Description

As a Public Area Attendant at Cascada Spa and Hotel, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and some fitness facility assistance. Your tasks will include cleaning, organizing, sanitizing and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas according to hotel standards, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure restrooms and common areas are stocked with necessary supplies and well-presented.
• Report maintenance issues and special requests from guests promptly.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Collaborate with departments throughout the property to ensure adequate supplies where necessary.
• Uphold our sustainability practices by using resources efficiently and recycling where applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have overnight availability including weekends.
• Previous experience in a guest facing housekeeping or a related role preferred, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Able to effectively communicate with our guests.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
