Main Duties
- Receive payments and balance cash at the end of a shift
- Answer incoming emails and inquiries via various digital portals
- Book car rentals, tickets to shows, restaurant and spa reservations, etc.
- Print and scan documents for members and guests joining the property
- Communicate updates regarding hours of operation, reservation restrictions, and workflow changes
- Provide information about Soho House amenities, room types, rates, and availability
- Suggest room preferences to increase revenue and guest experience
- Delegate support for members and guests to valet and luggage storage personnel
- Participate in daily shift briefings
Required Skills/Qualifications
- At least 1 year of similar role or customer service/customer facing role
- Ability to multi-task, answer high-volume phone lines, and provide professional, timely, and courteous service
- Quick learner or proficiency in OpenTable, Salesforce, Google Sheets, and/or Opera
- Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
- Able to make periodic fast-paced movements to move between parts of the property
- Able to move, pull, push, carry, or lift at least 30 pounds
- Able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb
- Able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
