Overnight Front Desk Agent - Soho House New York

Main Duties

  • Receive payments and balance cash at the end of a shift
  • Answer incoming emails and inquiries via various digital portals
  • Book car rentals, tickets to shows, restaurant and spa reservations, etc.
  • Print and scan documents for members and guests joining the property
  • Communicate updates regarding hours of operation, reservation restrictions, and workflow changes
  • Provide information about Soho House amenities, room types, rates, and availability
  • Suggest room preferences to increase revenue and guest experience
  • Delegate support for members and guests to valet and luggage storage personnel
  • Participate in daily shift briefings

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of similar role or customer service/customer facing role
  • Ability to multi-task, answer high-volume phone lines, and provide professional, timely, and courteous service
  • Quick learner or proficiency in OpenTable, Salesforce, Google Sheets, and/or Opera
  • Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands
  • Able to make periodic fast-paced movements to move between parts of the property
  • Able to move, pull, push, carry, or lift at least 30 pounds
  • Able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb
  • Able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
