The Store Team works together to keep stores organized, well‑stocked, and ready each business day. The Overnight Freight Team receives, organizes, and stocks merchandise so the store is prepared before customers arrive, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment.
Bi‑Mart is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for the Overnight Freight Team. Overnight Freight Clerks unload freight, organize inventory, stock merchandise, and prepare the sales floor for the next business day. Responsibilities include safely unloading delivery trucks, moving merchandise throughout the store, stocking shelves, maintaining an organized backroom, and ensuring products are accurately placed and displayed. The role requires working efficiently in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining accuracy, safety, and attention to detail, both independently and collaboratively to meet nightly freight goals.
Responsibilities
- Unload freight from delivery trucks safely
- Move merchandise throughout the store
- Stock shelves and organize inventory
- Maintain an organized backroom
- Ensure products are accurately placed and displayed
- Prepare the sales floor for the next business day
Qualifications
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to following safe work practices and maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, warehouse worker, or other retail positions is a plus
- Prior experience at Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons is an asset

Pay
Hourly rate: USD $16.10 – USD $19.25. Pay is issued bi‑weekly with an on‑demand payment option.
Schedule
This is an overnight position outside normal business hours. Team members typically work four 10‑hour overnight shifts per week. Scheduled days and hours may vary by location and business needs, and shift schedules may also vary based on workload and operational requirements.
