Overnight Floor Technician

Responsibilities

• Operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Mixes appropriate chemicals when cleaning.
• Moves furniture and cleans assigned area.
• Cleans and maintains machines after use.
• Reports any problems to Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Mops, scrubs, rinses, and polishes hard floors.
• Moves, rearranges, and cleans furniture.
• Operates and controls mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers, and back vacuums.
• Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Provides exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Has held a position as cleaner, or equivalent.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax preferred.
• Working knowledge of heavy duty equipment.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
