Overnight Casino Floor Technician

Routine Duties

• Routinely mopping (dry and damp), buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing on hard surface floors and stairs.
• Vacuuming, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
• Secure the work area and post proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
• Perform simple maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, bulb changing.
• Maintain and clean the floor care equipment and ensure that appropriate chemicals are being used on proper area.

Physical Requirements

This position will require you to stand, lift, and be physically active during the duration of your shift. Our Floor Cleaners must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and operate heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 1 ½ years experience in floor care is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, low speed scrubbers, extractor, burnisher, auto scrubber is strongly preferred.

Pay

$17.00 per hour
