Overnight ER Veterinary Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Overnight Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic and fast-paced hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside a team of experienced and board-certified veterinarians who utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals.

Requirements

• Proficiency in venipuncture & IVC placement
• Proper handling/restraint
• An understanding of animal behavior (fear-free familiarity is a plus)
• A broad knowledge of small animal surgery, disease processes and medicine
• Comfortable with dosages and calculations, including CRI's and IVF additives
• At least 1 year of veterinary nursing experience, 3 years preferred

Pay

Hourly range $18-34/hour

Overnight shifts receive a $3/hr shift differential

Credentialed Veterinary Technicians receive an additional $2 an hour

Veterinary Technician Specialists receive an additional $4 an hour

On call stipend for Anesthesia techs is an additional $350 on top of hourly pay!

On call stipend for Treatment techs is an additional $300 on top of hourly pay!

Schedule

Schedule 3/12's, overnights needed. Once a month on call is required.
