About the role

Sumner Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join its dedicated and compassionate team in Sumner, Washington. The practice has been serving the community since 1983 and is AAHA accredited and Fear Free Certified. Offering state-of-the-art veterinary care, the clinic employs a tenured Hospital Manager and a supportive team of client service representatives, assistants, and veterinary technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population
• Participate in ongoing professional development through annual CE stipend
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adapt to changing clinical needs and technologies

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State
• Experience in emergency and critical care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Completion of an ACVECC or ACVIM residency program in emergency/critical care (preferred)

Schedule

6pm - 7am; 3 shifts on - 6 shifts off; 9-12 shifts per month
