Responsibilities

• Perform life-saving procedures using cutting-edge diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners about medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina license or eligible to obtain one within 6 months.
• Experience in emergency medicine and/or specialty practice preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passing score on the AVMA core exam or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM accredited institution.
• Completion of an approved residency program in emergency and critical care or internal medicine.
• Passing score on the AVMA core exam or equivalent.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
