Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician Supervisor

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for an Overnight Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a leader in a dynamic team of veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent at training and mentoring
• Advanced veterinary skills
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
