Overnight Distribution Associate- Six Flags Area

About the Role

Overnight Distribution Associate position at a leading beverage distribution facility in Austell, GA. This role operates on a Sunday through Thursday night shift.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse.
• Load trucks for next-day delivery.
• Utilize computerized inventory systems (SAP and KEA).
• Read schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Transfer inventory lines to vehicles for next-day deliveries.
• Replenish inventory lines as needed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences (e.g., size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and place inventory on vehicles.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Repack containers as necessary.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Assist with counting inventory.
• Clean and maintain the warehouse daily according to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Night Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift Certificate—must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
• Basic computer skills.
