Distribution Center- Mid Morning/Day Shift - Six Flags Area

About the role

Mid-Morning/Day Distribution Center Worker position in Austell, GA. This role involves pulling orders, stocking, storing, and distributing inventory and products within the warehouse, as well as loading trucks for next-day delivery.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse.
• Load trucks for next-day delivery.
• Utilize computerized inventory systems, including SAP and KEA.
• Read schedules, orders, and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Transfer inventory lines to vehicles for next-day deliveries.
• Replenish inventory lines as needed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and place inventory on vehicles.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Repack containers as necessary.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc.).
• Assist with counting of inventory.
• Clean and maintain warehouse daily according to clean-up specifications as directed by team lead and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Morning Manager, Supervisor, and Lead.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift Certificate – must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

$20.50 hourly

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
