Overnight Client Service Representative

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced overnight Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals, where your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to deliver our mission to our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of VCA, setting the tone for the practice by building and maintaining each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.
• Perform customer service functions, including:
  • Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
• Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answer questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, including removal of animal waste, ensuring the facility is neat both inside and outside.
