The Job
The Pavilion at Star Lake is seeking Overnight Cleaning Crew to maintain venue sanitation standards. This role works under the direction of the Cleaning & Sustainability Manager to execute cleaning and overall daily upkeep of various areas after the end of shows, including restrooms, offices, and dressing rooms. Most shifts are approximately 11:00 pm – 5:00 am (hours may vary).
What This Role Will Do
- Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including but not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest-facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed
- Thoroughly clean all listed areas, including but not limited to bathrooms, employee break spaces, VIP areas, dressing rooms and office spaces backstage
- Remove all trash, change on trash linen, flip over unused trashcans
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, sanitizer, etc.
- Complete a cleaning checklist of all assigned areas
- Ensure all areas are ready to welcome guests
- Communicate effectively with the Cleaning & Sustainability Manager to ensure all cleaning needs are addressed in a timely manner
- Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned
- Uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
What This Person Will Bring
- A high school diploma/GED
- Background in cleaning preferred; general knowledge of cleaning supplies
- Reliable transportation to and from work during late night and early morning hours
- Pays attention to detail
- Highly motivated and able to work as a team
- Understands that working shows require long hours, often on weekends, so a flexible schedule is needed
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs+
- Willing and able to work in various weather conditions, including heat and rain
