Overnight Caretaker / Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

Responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents in a residential care facility. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to medical staff
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of living areas
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in a caregiving or related field preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving residents
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
