Overnight Campus Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with post orders, manage schedules, and maintain a strong focus on customer service and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers, ensuring adherence to post orders and completion of rounds.
• File required reports and notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Coach, discipline, and train personnel, documenting all actions.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submission.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts, meet with subordinates, and outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Carry out supervisory duties, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
• Perform Security Officer duties as needed, in accordance with post orders and company policy.

Requirements

• Active unarmed security license.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Experience creating and managing schedules.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security operations, patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Understanding of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Familiarity with security and safety devices and controls.
• Quick learning ability and capacity to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain professional composure in stressful situations.
• Courteous telephone manner and adaptability to various sites and post procedures.

Working Conditions

• May be exposed to stressful situations and challenging individuals.
• Requires background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
• May work overtime without advance notice and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• May be exposed to inclement weather or environments requiring protective gear.

Pay

$19.50/hour
