Overnight Baker

About the role

Our Baker ensures bakery products are visually appealing and delicious, providing excellent guest service by preparing and baking fresh items using quality ingredients. The role involves understanding and exceeding customer needs while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake products following scratch recipes and established procedures.
• Perform bench work, form products, and operate proofing equipment.
• Bake, fry, and preserve products for freshness, ensuring only the best are available for sale.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making product suggestions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Accurately record special orders and assist with inventory management.
• Understand ingredients and assist in maintaining bakery backroom efficiency.
• Support other areas as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6 to 12 months of bakery or related experience, or completion of apprenticeship program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to safety, sanitation, and customer service.
