About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Residential Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Glenhaven Academy, a residential treatment setting for adolescents specializing in trauma-informed care. This role involves working with a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care team to provide 24-hour comprehensive care, including on-site schooling.
Responsibilities
- Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
- Maintain the safety and well-being of students.
- Support staff and programming through knowledge of Glenhaven Academy’s Residential Department policies and procedures.
- Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to maintain a safe therapeutic atmosphere.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage.
- Transport students as required (valid driver’s license necessary).
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Remain awake throughout overnight shifts to ensure student safety.
- Experience in a residential program or mental health facility.
- Supervisory experience in a mental health facility.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license (transporting students is required).
- Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts as required.
Background and driving record checks will be performed.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications. Overtime may be mandated due to the nature of our work.
