Overhead Cab Crane Operator

About the role
As an Overhead Cab Crane Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely transferring pipe between floor racks, production lines, and scrap racks to support continuous operations. This role is essential for maintaining production flow and covering vacation or call-out needs.
- Operating overhead cab cranes using hand controls and computer systems (PSI)
- Transferring pipe to and from production lines and scrap racks
- Performing daily crane inspections and reporting maintenance issues
- Supporting production needs with minimal supervision
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Coordinating with floor operators and other crane operators for efficient workflow
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Preferred: 1–2 years of overhead cab crane experience
- Strong depth perception, eyesight, and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills and mechanical comprehension
