Responsibilities
- Operate overhead bridge cranes to lift, move, and position materials.
- Safely transport molten steel, steel slabs, ingots, steel coils, and other heavy materials within the facility.
- Perform daily crane inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure efficient material flow.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully complete a vision assessment meeting ASME B30.5 standards (20/30 or better in each eye, adequate depth perception, and color discrimination).
- 2+ years of overhead Crane Experience in a heavy industrial environment (preferred).
Skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Effective communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong ability to work independently without direction, and as part of a team.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is available on a 24/7 schedule.
