Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Cooks on 2nd shift, setting up, loading, emptying, and programming ovens for specified products, and handling meat racking for oven preparation.
  • Maintains time and production records; assists supervisors with paperwork; analyzes and collaborates with others to solve work problems.
  • Suggests improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Arranges racks in chill boxes to maximize capacity, swaps out temperature recording charts, troubleshoots boilers, blown fuses, and chart recorders.
  • Inspects meat after processing to meet customer specifications, checks meat temperatures before use, and communicates with drivers, supervisors, or designated personnel to ensure constant supply availability.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and follows directions.
  • Adheres to all quality and safety guidelines.
  • Lifts up to 60 pounds.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
