Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cooks on 2nd shift, setting up, loading, emptying, and programming ovens for specified products, and handling meat racking.
- Maintains time and production records; assists supervisors with paperwork; analyzes and collaborates with others to solve work problems.
- Suggests improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Arranges racks in chill boxes to maximize capacity, swaps temperature recording charts, troubleshoots boilers, blown fuses, and chart recorders.
- Inspects meat post-processing to meet customer specifications, checks meat temperatures before use.
- Communicates with drivers, supervisors, or designated personnel to ensure a steady supply of materials.
- Demonstrates teamwork and follows directions.
- Adheres to quality and safety guidelines.
- Lifts up to 60 pounds.
- Performs other duties as needed.
