Oven Operator

About the role

This position assists in the production, assembling, and packaging of dipped and dip-molded parts under the supervision of the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Operating hand-held air gun on various ovens and lifting racks on and off the oven in a fast-paced work environment
• Packing parts correctly
• Verifying the quality of parts
• Counting, sorting, reading, and understanding of work orders
• Assisting Oven Leads with set-ups
• Receiving and following instructions, and completing required paperwork accurately
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements

The minimum requirements for this position include the ability to work in a fast-paced production area, with job experience preferred. The candidate must also be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Skills

• Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work effectively in a shared work environment as a member of a team workforce
• Possessing good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to reach, twist, bend, squat, push, pull, and climb continuously as needed

Work Environment

The work environment occasionally exposes employees to seasonal temperature extremes, chemical substances and/or fumes, and toxic or caustic chemicals, with protective equipment available. The noise level varies from low to moderate, with hearing protection available.
