Job Duties

  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Daimler products and pricing
  • Identifies leads, manages prospects, and acquires new business
  • Maintains excellent customer service standard
  • Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers
  • Maintains and develops customer relationships
  • Schedules and documents activities
  • Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers
  • Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
  • Manages repair expectations for assigned customers to ensure excellent customer service and provide immediate service to trucks thereby maintaining the customer relationship
  • Spends more than 50% of his or her time outside the office engaging in the selling of Freightliner products

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in service department of trucking industry
  • Techician experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exhibits leadership qualities
  • Exhibits teamwork qualities
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Shows Initiative

Physical Requirements

Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination and background check

Compensation

Base salary: $60,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Plus Commission Plan
