About the role

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks talented, enthusiastic sales professionals to join our team. This role involves selling residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and building new relationships with prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships
  • Utilize sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns
  • Make cold calls to prospective customers
  • Schedule and follow up with appointments with prospective customers
  • Follow up with customers and provide solutions for any service concerns
  • Train customers and their teams on various product lines and services
  • Aid customers in the credit application process
  • Connect with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in window sales and/or installation is required
  • Familiarity with quoting windows is a plus
  • Experience with reading blueprints and conducting takeoffs is a plus
  • Specific industry knowledge, including familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferred but not required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and have vehicle insurance meeting company requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Superior time management and organization skills

Pay

Salary range (base + commission): $30,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual earnings may vary based on experience and sales performance.

Schedule

Hours and schedule are flexible to accommodate the needs of the position and the candidate.
