Responsibilities

  • Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
  • Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships to ensure homes and families are protected.
  • Adept at listening to customer needs and clearly explaining practical solutions, winning customers with confidence and care.
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities, conduct with professionalism and integrity, serve as an empathetic problem solver, and utilize in-depth training to recommend the best innovative overall pest solutions for each customer's needs.
  • Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, using a robust advertising budget provided by Orkin.
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes, explaining how Orkin’s products and services can give them peace of mind.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home, addressing any questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations.
  • Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized, receiving training on this tool.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • No experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
