About the role

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking Outside Sales Representatives to work within Springfield, OH and the surrounding areas. The role focuses on building relationships and canvassing entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils. It is a purchasing/business development position with no customer service or order‑taking duties, and there are no expectations to work holidays or long weekends. The company provides a company car and cell phone, and the ability to travel to Canada is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with potential suppliers of used cooking oil.
  • Canvass locations that have deep fryers to secure contracts for purchasing their used cooking oil.
  • Manage the purchasing/business development process from initial contact to contract execution.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful cold‑calling experience.
  • At least 2 years of door‑to‑door sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor‑vehicle report.
  • Hard‑working, reliable, and drug‑free.
  • Ability to travel to Canada as needed.
  • Bilingual ability in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, Hindi, or Bengali is a plus.

Pay

Base pay of $70,000 per year. Bonus pay of $0.10 per gallon collected when quota is met. Representatives can expect to earn 1× to 2× their base salary in bonuses, allowing motivated individuals to easily exceed six‑figure earnings.

Schedule

You will canvass locations within a 1.5‑hour drive of your designated area or depot. Mandatory hours: first stop by 9 a.m., last stop after 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursdays, the first stop is by 2 p.m. and the last stop after 10 p.m. (bar canvassing). Overall, the role averages 50+ hours per week, Monday through Friday.
